1995D double die Roosevelt

  1. Finally found a nice double die coin roll hunting. Stood out like a sore thumb.

    @DAVID J SAUNDERS Where do you see doubling? If you are talking about the mint mark it can't be hub doubling, just machine doubling which is a die deterioration issue.

    MD - Mechanical doubling
    And
    DDD - Die Deterioration doubling

    They both usually stand out like a sore thumb.
    Your Dime looks like Deterioration doubling.

    Both are considered worthless doubling and have nothing to do with a true Doubled Die variety.

    Oh.. And the correct numismatic terminology is Doubled not double die.
