1995 penstripe Lincoln penny??

    If you are referring to the lines on Abe's jacket, it looks like they could be from an old fingerprint that has stained the cent.

    Maybe others will have a better idea.

    Nope, you're correct @frankjg, that is someone's fingerprint.

    Yep. And there's nothing worse than looking over one of your mint or proof sets and seeing a greasy fingerprint stain on an otherwise nice coin. I know they're not supposed to be handling any coins bare handed, but the evidence is overwhelming.
