1995 p quarter struck through or damage?

    bryantallard show me the money....so i can look through it

    if this was damage wouldn't it have affected the E in liberty or the 95? the 3rd pic is of the ear area which some of it still remains. advice appreciated.

    Those are protected from damage by the rim and the bust.
    Note the different (shiny) patina where the damage is on the bust. Didn't happen at the mint.
