1995 nickel with weird collar

    This one has me confused. Edge is layered, with apparent “reeding.” Looks as if to be made with a reeded collar. Weight is normal. Any thoughts? Sorry pics aren’t the best.

    It's a partial collar strike. The reede edge is just ejection damage.. Not actual reeding.

    I agree that it appears to be a partial collar strike. Did you just pick this out of your pocket change or were you roll searching? It's a cool find.
