No idea who told you or where you obtain info that they where only for 94 and 95. I looked in my collection and I had a large 93, and small 94, 95 and 96 for the $5.00 Jamaican.

Only the 93 was large, rest for 94,95 and 96 are all the same size. I am going to friends store soon so will look at the guide and see what other years if any and there prices.

    update:

So according to the guide the ones for 94 and 95 are 2.50 in unc and 3.50 in bu. Im guessing they are ciculated and when it comes to Jamaican coins you can always get a huge discount vs guide.

As for what years there was ones for 1971 - 1996 and then ones for 2000 and 2002.

    1971 - 1973 - .925 silver
    1974 - 1984 - copper nickel ones and 0.5% silver ones
    1985 - 1993 - had proof ones, 0.5% silver ones and a steel one
    1994 - 1996, 2000, 2002 - steel

note: 1983 was an independence version

Anyways thats just a cut down version of whats in the book.
