1995 Doubled Die Lincoln - Finally I finally found a 1995 Doubled Die I wanted. They have come down in price enough so that I can pick up the other two I need at an affordable price. If you are in the the market, they seem to be selling at a reasonable level these days. My new baby: :hatch:
Sure jello. I did probably pay a little too much but compared to the prices they used to sell for, I was happy to pay $75. I've seen them for $60 or even $80-$90 for 67's. I used to see them reguarly for well over a $100. I think at 60-75 dollars I may have to pick up two more.
A dumb question but I go thru a box of pennies every week or so. Do you think that there is any chance still finding a 55 DD. I know anything is possible but......
I don't have one since I stopped my Lincoln cent set at the end of the wheaties (1958). And I generally don't go in for the error varieties unless they are REALLY popular. I DO have a 1922 Plain, Strong Reverse (PCGS VF-25). And I DO have a 1955 DDO (ANACS AU-55). But that's it for those type of coins.
im fortunate to own the 72 and 55 ddo type ones.. and the 95.. got an 83 and 84...90wow i got a mess of errors looking o sell them i one set.. starting price your soul.. and you first born..lol
Nice price! They really have come down in price in the last year or two as far as I can tell. When I started looking at them, they were easliy 100-150 apiece. Does anyone know any figures on the number of 1995 DD out there? I've never seen an estimate.
