1995 D penny ddo/ddr?

    I found some resources that make it seem as though it is split plate doubling, can anyone confirm?

    Usually the error experts hang out in the errors section of the forum. I’ll see if I can roust up the house pro here and make a call out to @paddyman98. If anyone can answer your question, it will be him..... I know that I see a lot of this shadowy kind of doubling on the copper plated cents produced since 1983 and it may well be called split plate doubling.
