1995 D Lincoln Penny pmd or error

    Hello all,

    There's these two streaks that are running on Lincoln's face. I thought it was pmd but they are raised, so nothing scratched it. Also, on his mouth area, the part that connects the lips to his beard is missing but can be only seen when tilted at an angle. Just checking if this was an error or pmd. Thank you.

    Thanks for posting entire photos of both sides. I would say its PMD. vise marks would be my guess.

    He stated that the marks are not incused but raised. And if a vise was used I would think both sides of the Cent would be affected.
    Maybe some weird plating issue since it's a Copper Plated Zinc Cent. Like parallel bubble streaks.
