1995 D Lincoln Doubled Obverse

Think this is correct? I found some matches on variety Vista !

Well heck ! You know I look at Variety Vista and in their pics it's hard for me too see what they are looking at !!

 

Unless it's obvious doubling !

 

Flat & shelf-like = machine doubling

I get that but some of it too me didn't look flat. Probably because I didn't want it too be.

 

Sorry, but it's as Chris said, machine doubling.

 

To the inexperienced eye machine doubling can look similar to die doubling, but it doesn't take much practice to see the difference. Spending a little time looking at true doubled die coins helps enormously.

VM, I've been trying on Variety Vista. But in their pics it's hard to tell what they are looking at. Paddy gave me a site called Lincolnsource which has better pics but even some of those look flat to me. Well practice makes perfect they say, as long as you guys can put up with me ! Thanks for all the help again people !
