1995 d cent

    I took picture but deleted it as it was really faded. I have a 1995 D Lincoln cent, the AM in america very close. Does any one have info on something like this. Could this be a rare coin. Just a beginner

    Hello and welcome.

    Cents in the 1990s typically came in 2 different types. The "Wide AM" cents from 1990-1992, and the "Close AM" cents from 1993-1999. You can best tell the difference between the two here: http://lincolncentresource.com/wideams.html

    For the 1990s, there are a few coins that are seen as "rare". They are the 1992 with a "Close AM" reverse, and 1998, 1999, and 2000 with a "Wide AM" reverse. Again, check out the link I posted, and it will show you the difference and have a list of the rare ones. Hope this helps!
