So I picked this up at a shop for cheap and I was wondering how much silver is in it and how much is it worth?

Google is your friend, I am not sure if they were made in silver or if they were made in clad. Should be easy to find.

He's a new guy. Sometimes I like to ask questions on here for the conversation rather than use google. It's very impersonal and great friendships have grown on here rather than just asking google! ;)

Commems are very cool to own and if you display them well they bring a lot of viewing pleasure!

I agree that this is a good place to meet good people. But I am also a proponent of doing your own research and being able to independently find the answers you are looking for. Then, if you can't find the answer - ask. But that's just me maybe

You are right as well! My style is a little more old school. I would rather talk to one of my guys at the coin club and get the answer that way, build a relationship, rather than look on google. You get some really cool stories that way as well. If I really need to know, I will use the big "G" and I know thats out there but I prefer the one on one interaction. Neither of us are wrong.....

Honestly, I did do research and I've seen a bunch of different values between $20 And $40 and I was just looking for more opinions. I do research most of my coins.
