Is this a repunched mint mark .... I'm reading that after 1988 it's impossible. Can some explain then what type of error it is Also would like to know what is on the 1957 wheat penny is it a cud or a type of doubling .... Or something else all together
1989 was the last year the mint marks were punched into the dies by hand. There is no way to tell exactly what's going on from these pics, but it's likely a plating issue on the 1994.
