    Any idea why it has a raised wing on the left side? Please and thank you.

    Heat damage. Blow torch or some kind of flame/extreme heat reacted with the clad layer and rhe copper underneath to create a bubble.

    Yes, it's been heated, which causes
    the occluded gas bubble to lift off the
    surface.

    The dis-colored surfaces are another
    hint to what happened to the coin.
