Can someone help me identify these marks on this 1994 P Quarter?

    Are those sunken or raised?

I just got this new microscope that I'm trying to learn how to work. Do you think I need to post better pictures so that you can get a better look at it?

Your picture is good enough to see there's something unusual going on there. Can't you tell whether it's sunken or raised just by eyeballing it?

Too me, it looks like its raised by eyeballing it.

Here's more pictures. These are the best pictures I could get. It's a Dino Lite microscope. I'm going to send this one back and get me another microscope.

I am not sure Hogan. but, my best guess would be Die wear.
    Maybe a slight chip.

Thanks! Let me ask you this. Do you think its worth sending it off too have it looked at?

I for one like to handle my acquisitions. Unless I want to get rid of it,
I wouldn't slab any part of my collection, unless I bought it that way.
