1994 Lincoln Cent - Does this qualify as a double die on the date?

    Not very helpful for the new member.
    @coining around I'm afraid your coin is suffering from die deterioration and the zinc issues from the cents post 1982's switch. The coin is unfortunately not a doubled die or any sort of error. Keep searching though!

    No, it is a defect in the copper shell/zinc core joining, allowing the zinc to protrude. Mechanical error.

    Not a bad idea. It's not very user friendly and I've been here a while. How can I expect a newbie to use it?
