Joy, most likely you have either machine doubling, which I encounter very often on Washington Quarters, or damage in just the right spot. It is hard to say which without holding the coin.
I think it's MD because it's in more than one spot. As soon as I learn what equipment to buy to take better pictures I'll post better ones
