1994 dime

    this belongs to my brother. i think he said he got it in change, but not sure when. the obverse is copper and the reverse is silver. he was curious of a value because a coin shop offered him 20 dollars for it. any opinions are welcome. also it doesnt appear to have been washed or dipped in acid. its clean and smooth. thanks in advance.

    It appears to be a dime that was struck on a planchet that was missing the obverse clad layer. If it weighs around 1.8 grams, that would clinch it. These usually sell for about $50 in uncirculated condition on eBay.
