Hello everyone! I came across this dime last night and was wondering if anyone fully knows what's going with this coin. I see a definite Die crack on the reverse. Now on to the obverse> > >, I see what looks like a cud with a huge die break??? What's going on with his cheek?
Ahhh! It's too late to think, being only 2 a.m and under sleep has taken its toll.
Any and all comments(within the rules) truly appreciated!!!

Edit.. Split Capped Die with Cud

Probably some more better technical terms for it.

Wonderful. Sal you have a good one there!

Edit #2. He doesn't actually have this coin :meh:

Sal, that's a beauty! Great attribution for it, credit Ed for that. Hang onto it. That one has grease issues, while yours is from cleaner dies.

    What does that mean?
You may have been sleep deprived, but it would be nice to know if you: found it CRH, in change, from a box you forgot, online and not yours.

I came across this on another forum and thought it was unique, that's all! Is this a crime? It's about learning not about whatever your thinking. If I fooled anyone then I apologize for the misunderstanding . :shame:;)
