1994 d penny that appears to have second layer in some sections

    PMD. That cent seems to have a layer of clear resin or glue adhered to it. On the obverse closeup, I can read the word Liberty through whatever bonded to your coin. Try soaking it in acetone to see if that clear substance can be removed.
