1993S Error Cent

    I have a 1993S cent that appears to have the "AM" error.

    In this photo you will see a 1992S, 1993S and 1994S cent. The "AM" on it.

    I think all proofs are ment to be wide AM but somebody eles will have to tell you for sure.

    That is correct. Proofs have the "wide AM". Recently, it was discovered that a few 1999 proof lincolns were struck with the buisness reverse, i.e. the "narrow AM" reverse.

  6. is it just me, or my lame monitor, but the 93 looks like a business reverse? but was it not in 1994 that they started using the narrow am for business strikes?

    You see the same thing I do - the AM is almost touching on the '93. And the other diagnostics for a business strike appear to be correct as well. Read these articles and judge for yourself - Article 1 Article 2
