A solid curved single scratch starts in the rim on the reverse above the E in AMERICA and arcs south finishing thru the A and ending near the dot(?). There are also odd markings on the rim of the obverse where scratch starts as well as on the rim above the western "dot". Ive found a quarter that had multiple finger feeder scratches on its die and am curious if this is in the same family.
the die somehow got a scratch on it , this would be about impossible to say for sure what scratched the die IMO.
Agreed. Honestly, im hoping a certain Mike Diamond gets his peepers on this as he was the one who helped classify the aforementioned quarter from a previous thread. I know these scratches can almost never be 100% traced to their cause, but a few reputable opinions can help with some closure, yours included. Thanks rascal
