Please forgive me if the coin made subject of this thread is nothing out of the ordinary nor of any significance as I am new to this forum and just wondering if said quarter in the attached pics was possibly struck on the wrong planchette...or something else? I don't recognize what other coin it could possibly have been struck on given the width and diameter. Any thoughts? I greatly appreciate the wisdom and time of any members whom respond. Thank you!

The 93 is a dryer coin, or spooned ...

First, welcome to the neighborhood @Jay-D !

Like the others said, your quarter has been spooned.

If you're wondering why someone might do this, it is done primarily for the purpose of making a coin ring (Google this!) but some people give up after they realize how time-consuming it can be.

Thank you all for your responses. I figured it was something like that. I have a 1970 S penny that appears to have doubling unless it was something else caused during the minting process. I am
Confident it is not "omg" however.
