Hello everyone. I am new here. I have seen several posts about coins like this. Almost all are some experiment or acid removal of the copper. I have never seen another penny like that with a lamination error look to it. Is this just someone removing the coating or is this an actual error. Thanks for looking and for the help. Also on the reverse that is a picture flash not a copper section.

Looks like damage on different areas of the upraised rim. And a huge linier bubble on the Obverse which tells me it's still plated.

Thanks for the response. Where the rim has obvious damage anyways I scraped it down to see if it was painted of coated in something else. It looks to be zinc the whole way through. What is unusual to me is that the linear bubble goes into the damaged rim and is raised above the S in trust. If the damage happened afterwards you wouldn't be able to see that raised portion in the rim. Also the lettering seems to be concaved on the middle and flattened out rather than raised in some spots. In the 1993. The 1 and first 9 are normal then the 9 and 3 are flattened.
