1993 Memorial Cent; unlisted DDO variety

    I've been unable to find a listing for this die variety. Then again I've only been using free online sources like doubleddie.com. There's a slight southward spread on LIBERTY and in lesser degree on the date. 20180318_172030.jpg

    Maybe it's just me I'm not seeing anything special try www. Variety vista.com IMO

    It appears you are using a scope for your photo? If that is the case you will likely see just about anything with that much power. I do not see anything that looks like doubling either, sorry.

    It isn't doubling, but wear of the original die over very large numbers of coins pressed. It tends to stretch a tiny amount from the pressure. It can get so bad, the L almost touches the edge. jim
