Just wanted to show you one of my error coins, I have in my collection! (On the front, the rim is like sheared off and look between the C and A on the reverse. The C almost looks like a G) Thanks guys, happy hunting!

Calling it an error doesn't make it so.

If it's not an error, then what is it?

THE question of the month. You got in just under the deadline. You have reached a place where wisdom might ensue. Answer your own question in this case, and ALWAYS ask that question of any non-standard looking coin. Hint: almost the very LAST thing it is is an "error". The MOST common is "damage", and a variety of ills exist in between.

You have been conned, to date, to believe errors are out there in quantity.
