    No, if anything, it is light reflection giving that appearance.

    If you coin shows any doubling, which I can't see, it's a form of NAV or no added value doubling. It's zinc and they are terrible and well know for numerous types of worthless doubling. What your coin does have is it's a MAD, misaligned die. Notice the thick rim on one side and the opposite side is very narrow. That's a MAD. NAV on this as well.

    Towards the end of 1982, the mint went to zinc planchets plated with a thin layer of copper. These "Crappy Zincolns" have all sorts of problems and NAV doubling is one of them.
    Check a couple of sites to compare and learn about worthless doubling. You can usually answer your own question from them.
