    1992D Deteriorated Die Doubling

Once in a while I run into a nice MD or DDD cent, this one just caught my eye so I kept it.....a humble coin.

This effect is due to die deterioration and is not really machine doubling.

    Thanks,

Looks like a double die to me but maybe it could be a form of Die deterioration double .I get so frustrated sometimes when i have to look and tell if I can see it.:desk::desk::desk:

    Hi,

The correct term is doubled die with a D. That's not nit picky:)

It's just better to use the proper terminology.

Also, this looks , as mentioned exactly like die deterioration doubling and nothing at all like a doubled die.

    The differences are that strong.

    Thanks,
    Bill
