Difficult to evaluate, but it looks as if the larger "S", the last one in "STATES", was like crushed, under some weight, which caused it to look fatter, spread out. It would be very unusual for it to be another type die. As to cleaning, if that is crayon, soak in acetone for a day or two. Then gently brush with hot water and Joy dish detergent. But seriously, if I am correct, it is not worth cleaning. Gary in Washington
thank you i know what exactly you are talking about and i am not seeing it being smashed it may be, but its hard to tell. it needs to be cleaned. i mean if it is a different font then i DO NOT want to clean it right?
