1992 think rim error, 1942 die error?

    i have a 1972 penny that has a unusally thick rim to the right and get very tthin to the left what kind of error is this and is it to any vaule...... also i have a die error on a 1944???

    what kinda errors are on these coins???

    Last one is offstruck and a bit spread...that's all I can say !

    If that's a cud where a chunk of the die broke off on the 1944, it may be worth a few bucks. It doesn't even look quite like a cud though, so we'll have to get someone else's opinion on that. On the 1972, I think it's just off-center a bit, but I don't believe it's off-center enough to be of much interest to people that pay for such things, but I may be wrong. Plus, it's all corroded up on some spots. On that 1972, is it the same diameter as a regular one cent?

  9. If the reverse of the 72 has the same spread then it would be a broad strike. I'm betting it does not. Which would mean it is a misaligned die. The obverse die was a bit askew and left the wide rim. However it also looks like you have a collar clash on it as well.

    No real value. Sorry.

    the 1972 is a misaligned die, the other? I don't see what you are seeing.
