i got a 1992 penny in my tip jar at work. it was printed with front and back on both sides. the head side you can see better than the back side. is it worth anything?
Perhaps. If I understand you correctly each side of you(r) Cent has both a Lincoln Memorial and bust of President Lincoln on it. Correct? Look at both sides and see if letters and/or numbers are reversed (backward) and let us know.
yes you are correct the lincoln mem and lincoln are on both sides with printing backwards and on backside same with lincolns head facing to the left
The Lizard King lit a fire in Tennessee, eh? Welcome to the forum Sounds like you may have a die clash error. But as bohica said, let us know if the lettering is normal, or backward (like it would appear in the mirror). If you can, post a picture too.
Most likely a normal Cent was placed between two others arranged with heads to tails and tails to heads and the 3 coin stack given a good whack with a hammer. That would account for the reversed letters and portrait. However, this could be a genuine mint error.
1992 yes the letters are backwards like in a mirror and the lizard king and i are from the same town in fla lol
