1992 Penny MD ?

    Hi I doing my best at learning the difference between MD and doubled die coins. The 2 on the date is that a MD or something else? 1992 penny obverse.jpg 1992 penny reverse.jpg

    The zincoln cents often have that anomaly next to devices. The pressure of the strike, the metal moving to fill the incuse parts of the die, and very often the copper coating doesn't adhere very well to the zinc core.

    Thanks I will look at the info. The other day I looked at the one for MD and doubled dies and it helped a lot. I see this on many coins so now I know what it is.:happy:
