I haven't been able to find another 1992 d.d.obv. anywhere. Does anyone have an idea what this might be worth or any other comments or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I've taken it to a few local coin shops, they were all impressed but no idea about the value. I plan on getting it slab ASAP. Sorry about the photo quality, this was my first attempt ever taking coin pictures.

To other CT Members..you have to click on the picture then click on the picture again to see what the OP is talking about.

I can't recall the technical term (I should know it as often as people post something like that on here) possibly a die detoriation so its only worth 1c sorry. I would check the reverse side to see if it's a closed "AM"

I believe that is Die Deterioration Doubling, and is not the collectible type of doubled die sought as an error.

    example

here's my example of die deterioration doubling. I kept it so I always have an example.

also, look for a 'close AM' on the Reverse.

Edit: I know the pics need to be renamed.

Many of these were produced with DDD and are worth one cent.

Thank you all for your input. I've heard of the die deterioration doubling and now at least I can tell the difference.

100_1788.jpg is this coin more of the same? obviously the die was in bad shape, but the reverse is normal, and the obverse face is doubled and the rest is barley readable, any thoughts on this?
