1992 DDO Lincoln Penny a true DDO?

    This coin has the same type of doubling on the Obverse and Reverse. I used to toss these until I saw someone trying to pass it off as a True Double-Die on eBay and thought I might ask around a bit.

    It's die deterioration doubling. The exact same thing as the 1955 "Poor man's double die."

    If you examine it alittle closer you can see triple doubling, especially on the "L" in Liberty.

    No need to examine it...not a doubled die..
    if you like it enjoy it and keep it for your collection, but as far as value it's worth
