I bought 20 rolls of pennies from the local bank. On my 8th roll, i see almost half of them 1992! Upon closer inspection, one of them is 1992 close AM!! Any idea on how much this could be worth? Pictures later.
Pictures, then we can tell you value. If it's a legit close AM, and a Philly minted one, a few thousand to start... IIRC, there's only three discovered out there right now.
I'm just overly cautious with coins like this because I've personally found a cent I thought was a CAM but wasn't upon closer inspection. There's a lotta factors that can make a WAM look somewhat like a CAM and whatnot, so...
On a similar note, I've noticed there are three varieties for spacing on the 1992's... there's a close AM, as above, a mid AM which is just a bit further, and a wide am, which is a pretty decent distance. The mids and wides are common, at least for me.
Don't mean to sound cynical but is it time already for our weekly "found a '92 CAM - bad pic,no pic" thread?
Can you get a larger clearer picture straight on. The angle may make it look closer than it really is.
