Howdy, In most cases these aren't real. Do a search here on CT for double headed coins. Check the edge of your nickel and see if you see what looks to be a cut that goes all the way around. Also do a ring test....drop the nickel on a table and listen to it ring....now take another, normal nickel and do the same thing. The double headed nickel should have a dull thud.... Speedy

now the rest of the story....... I had one that was double tailed. so I know where the rest of the coin was. Interesting coin as I remember. One side was a plain, the other side was a D. If only I had not spent or lost it years ago.. Think what that thing would bring on ebay.. a coin that was minted at TWO different mints. Shucks..
