1991-D Lincoln double ear lobe?

Hey everyone,

Just wondering if Lincoln has a double ear lobe on this pic. Its nothing like the 1984, but still looks a bit 'iffy'.

I cannot see anything that makes me think DDO, but the light used to shoot it wasn't ideal. Coins like this tend to be plating bubbles, gouges and post-mint hits. To be a DDO there needs to be all the details of a normal ear, plus an additional area of doubling...

Edit2: I should have said "doubled die" around the ear lobe, and not just double"

 

I would love to see a better picture of this one without issues caused by the lighting.

Forget the ear, what about the beard doubled on the neck below the ear?

Please educate me about that line of raised area under the ear that mimics the beard line. Thank you.

 

Probably an errant die gouge, possibly a die crack.

 

So the guy had a neat coin but focused on the wrong feature?

 

I found like 5 of these type of pennies running through 20 rolls of 2013 pennies. I will post them later. I didn't know if there was anything to it though.
