Whatcha think? I've never glanced at any of the nickels in my pops collection so I figured I would look at one of the not full books he had.

I see what looks like some sort of hub doubling like on the LIB of Liberty along with more of the outer devices.

Any opinions are appreciated even the ones that say... "Keep trying girl and you will find one someday". So long as they have to do with the coin and not how you don't like how I spelled the word Liberty because you spell it LIBERTY or etc. You get it I'm sure.

    Thanks y'all in advance!

I'm getting a little bored of doing this by myself all the time. I need some coin pals IRL for sure lol.

Sorry if there's duplicate pics I can't see them very good on my phone.

"Keep trying girl and you will find one someday".

Notice how the upright in the letter B is thinner? Dead giveaway that it's machine doubled (or maybe has taken a hit). On true doubled dies, none of the letter/numbers should be thinner than on a regular coin

Im not seeing it. Looks like slight machine doubling on the "B" to me.

There may be coin club meeting located near you. Local coin shops could probably help you find the time and place. Just a thought.

Machine doubling... I suggest you get a Cherry Pickers Guide, it will help tremendously...
