1991 cent die wear reverse

    Just thought I would post this reverse of this 1991 reverse. It looks to me that the die was pretty well worn at this time. There are 4 die cracks. The second image is the forth die crack that was small.

    Thats a big time keeper. They're always neat to find...

    There is corrosion under the plating on this coin so it is also possible that the "cracks" are caused by the underlying rot separating the copper plating from the zinc core. I can't tell from the images if they are actually die breaks or not. Also, there is very little die wear. The details are excellent.

    I went back and took a closer look at what I thought were "die breaks" and you are right, all but the top left were "cracks" in the lamination.
