hello yall. what i have here is a strange little coin. first off the color is way off, almost like someone might have cleaned or polished it or maybe it is a proof coin? second is the some of the doubling almost looks etched into the coin...i shrug my shoulders here...so lets just get to the pics and let yall decide. thank you fer your time.
This is a split plating issue but not an error, sorry to say. Very common on all cents made after 1982. Welcome to the world of plated zinc coins. Welcome to Coin Talk.
