There appears to be a crack in the stairs. Upon looking at it under the magnifing glass its doesnt appear to make the stairs un-aligned. they still line up . but heres something i just found. UNITED STATES on the top is doubled (only on the top) actually the more i look it it. it looks like every letter in UNITED STATES has bubbles of somesort on the top of every letter. im gunna have to post pictures of that with a better camera. but heres the pictures i got so far.
It's hard to tell as you said with the pictures. Also, could you post a picture of the obverse? Rhubarb
