Not sure what happen is this coin. Is it a die cap coin?. There are so many different patterns. Its definetly has the rim is punched like the side of the coin from 3 o'clock to 7 o clock His eye looks doubled, looks like a bow in his hair, the repunch over 'In God We Trust", between the "I" and "B" and "E" and "R" in liberty, the Mintmark has another "P" to the left of it. I think i can see the torch in his hair. Interesting coin. Any input is appreciated.
Simple.. It is. Misaligned Die Strike with a Collar Clash. It has nothing to do with a capped die. Common issue. Nothing major. All other issues you see is circulation damage and/or worn die strike issues. Mr. Ed Specializing in collecting Mint Errors since 1985
