1990 Lincoln PMD?

    I see what you are referring to, and it does appear to be a more pronounced line in the hair, compared to other cents. Not sure if it is a crack or platting issue though.

    I highlighted a few things that I see now.
    There is a dark line "black arrows"
    And what might be a retained interior die break " high lighted in blue"
    It could be the lighting but it looks raised.

    I just checked a few 90's cents that I have.
    That heavy line in the hair is part of the design.
    But if you can see a raised line (crack) then that would be different.
    They call them cracked skulls, some or most would eventually turn into a retained IDB or IDB, blob in the hair forehead and behind the ear.
