1990 cent PMD?

    There appears to be a die chip across the bridge of the nose that runs into the field of the device. Not sure. Feel free to correct the terminology 1828173243718.jpg 1828173259429.jpg

    Copper Plated Zinc Cent
    Maybe a plating issue. Blister?

    I started collecting not quite two years ago but have not had much opportunity or time until now to really start digging in and learning about minting and the varieties as well as terminology. So is a blister or plating issue PMD?

    Looks like a plating blister. Common on these zinc cents.

    Nope! It's just a common trait for the crappy Zincoln.

    Poke it with a stick. If it gives a little, it's a plating blister. It looks like the plating on the reverse isn't very good, either, as you can see voids between the rim and TED of UNITED.
