What causes those blisters?....Also, going through some coin rolls and found a few with the green corrosion on them....What's the best way to get rid of that without destroying the coin? SingleShot0000.jpg

The coin is zinc. It is coded with a very thin coat of copper. The blisters that form can be caused by a number of things. The coin has moisture, and unclean surface, the temperature of the metals are but just a few.

Meow tries not to let that happen by putting open rolls in coin tubes. Or BU OBW rolls in tin cans to hopefully keep tarnish away.
