I bought 10 rolls of Lincolns yesterday and noticed that on all 10 rolls, someone had wrote "CHECKED ROLL"?!?!? So I began to unravel them and notice that all the dates were 1980's and up, so that tells me that I'm not the only coin collector here lol... I was a little disappointed at first but then thought it was kinda cool i wasn't the only one in town to have a hobby like this. Blah Blah Blah getting to the point now.. even tho i felt like it was gonna be a waste of my time to go through all the rolls... I did anyways hoping they had misplaced a few GEMS lol. here is what i found to be a little interesting...............

***Here is a picture of it INVERTED to show details in the Doubling. Zoom in on it if you cant see the details on the penny. You really can't miss it because all the letters are doubled and even the memorial building has doubling on it.***

If you'll notice on the first penny, Lincoln looks like a floating ghost..

You may have to copy and paste the link if it's not highlighted already.

Anyways, give me some feed back and tell me what you guys think.

Welcome to the forums. I am by no stretch an expert on doubling but if I see anything I would call it machine doubling. Again wait until one of the experts read this they will be able to tell you what you have.
