Hi guys, my Dad decided to get $10 in CWR pennies to look through after our bank had forgotten to order halves for us this week, and he pulled this. I'm pretty sure its unplated. What do you guys think it is and what its worth? I am getting ready to send in some coins to PCGS to have graded and was thinking about sending this one in with them, but then I looked at the fees and an error coin is $50 to have graded!!

Honestly it looks like it was heated more than it being unplated.

Save your money, I'm more than 99% sure that coin WAS plated when it left the mint.

    . I don't think it is un-plated either IMHO

Looks like it might have gotten hot though ???

ok, thanks for your opinions. how can you tell that it was just heated? what are the characteristics of an unplated cent.
