    Hello all!

I was searching throu some bank roll pennies when i came around to this. You can't really see it very well in the picture but there are signs of double die i will try to get better pictures but I think there might be double die in states, of and united. I can see it clearly through my loupe but cant get the right angle with my camera to capture the double die. but there is a line above each letter and some lines on the sides of the letters. Any suggestions on getting better pictures.

    Thank you all,
    Sam

Your photos are super blurry so I can't tell anything for sure.

If the doubling is flat it is probably strike doubling.

By the way the correct term is 'doubled die'.

    rickmp Frequently flatulent.

When phrase "doubled die" is spoken, the two D's tend to run together making it sound like double die. People tend to write what they hear. I know it can be annoying, but don't we all have bigger fish to fry?:)

although the pics are blurry I can make out enough in the photo of the word "OF" to tell you it is machine doubling.
