I found this 1989 p quarter that looked interesting. I know that its a little off center could this possibly be a struck through cloth or some kinda strike through....
No, besides the wear and tear through the years, I also see radial flow lines that indicate this was from a worn die. Not off center but a slight misaligned die.
I see nothing other than circulation wear and a very, very slightly misaligned die. It's a spender, I'd say.
It has taken multiple hits from various items since it’s life began. Not a strike through by any stretch of the imagination but plain damage.
