I have found a 1989-P that I believe is a DDO. I have looked through the ones that are listed on coppercoins. (The doubling looks a lot like 1DO-001.) Most of them are MDS coins and have markers that are easily noticeable. Most have deep die scratches. I can't find a die scratch on this coin. The only attribute that jumps out at me is a nice sized die dot, south of the A in AMERICA, about 1/4 to 1/3 of the way between the A and the FG (initials). I don't know if this is just: 1) an EDS coin, 2) a new DDO, or 3) not a doubled die at all. I think I can rule out #3, but I want to see what you folks think. The date seems doubled (thickness) nicely. TRUST looks doubled and maybe the E in WE. Anyway, take a look and tell me what you think.

Jay, it looks like a minor class VI (mostly on the date). I think it'd be too minor to try and match up on coppercoins.com, however...
