1989 mint-sewn bag Lincoln cents: how do I determine the mint?

I have a mint-sewn bag of 1989 Lincoln cents. Problem is, I can't tell from the bag which mint they're from. I can't find the receipt from when I bought them, and even then, it doesn't say anything on the bag that allows easy determination. All that's stamped on the bag is

    P.36 Jun 23 1989

Does the P in front designate Philadelphia, or is that a coincidence? Thanks in advance for anyone's help.

I would assume the P is meant for Philadelphia...

I should have also asked: Should I sell the bag as is, or should I break it open, look for errors on cold winter nights (next winter), and sell them individually and/or by the roll? In other words, are high MS grade 1989 Lincolns in high demand or commanding a premium?

Here's a picture of the bag, in case that happens to help.

I don't know, but think of the premium you could charge for a Mystery Bag! On Ebay you could write, "Crazy Mystery bag of 1989 cents! Unsearched! What mint is it from? Denver, Philadelphia, perhaps San Francisco, or some previously unknown mint, like maybe San Jose, Tucumcari, or Detroit! You never know what you'll get, but I guarantee it'll be more than you deserve!"

Yeah, I agree, probably best to just sell them as they are right now...
